You can do allot better and allot worse than Andersen. If you look into going with Andersen I personally would suggest the 400 series as I still feel this is the bread and butter line of what they offer. It is a solid window and would serve you well. That being said I would still investigate other options in better performing windows (ie: Integrity, and premium vinyl etc), but I cannot offer an opinion on Gerkin although I would assume being as it is a vinyl line available thru a lumberyard it would not be considered anything resembling a premium vinyl.
